Airspace surveillance and air defence capabilities

the development of NAF airspace surveillance and anti-aircraft defense capabilities will continue in 2023 and beyond, including the upgrading of the very short-range PGA weapons RBS-70 NG, the acquisition of advanced mobile airspace surveillance radar 1X, improved communications and command support, anti-drone combat capabilities, and the purchase of a medium-range PGA system, significantly improving PGA coverage in the territory of Latvia.
